At The Mothers Hive, we are a collective of three devoted mamas offering holistic postpartum doula services to support mothers as they integrate their birth journey, heal physically, and replenish deeply.
We believe that mothers deserve full-spectrum care, far beyond what traditional postpartum support often provides. While most doulas are trained primarily in physiology, our Postpartum Practitioners bring a much broader, holistic approach. We are trained in Ayurveda, psychology, spiritual healing modalities such as sound and energy healing, nervous system regulation, childhood brain development, and family systems—because we understand that birth transforms every aspect of life.
Our mission is to bridge the gaps in birth work by offering a level of care that nurtures not just the body, but also the mind and spirit. As mothers ourselves, we are deeply attuned to what a new mama truly needs after giving birth, ensuring she feels held, nourished, and fully supported in this sacred transition. When mothers thrive, families thrive—and that is the heart of our work.
The seed for The Mothers Hive was planted in May 2020, after the birth of my first child—a birth that unfolded wildly different from what I had envisioned. I had dreamed of a natural homebirth, but after three days of heroic laboring at home, I transferred to the hospital. The birth itself was only the beginning of a journey that tested me in ways I never expected.
Navigating postpartum during the peak of the pandemic, isolated from community and support, was one of the hardest experiences of my life. I yearned for sisterhood, nourishment, and the kind of care that every mother deserves. It was during this raw and vulnerable time that my eyes were opened to the dire need for holistic postpartum care—not just for mothers, but for their babies and families too. I also came to a shocking realization—midwives and doulas had little to no training in mental health, and there were no dedicated postpartum therapists to help new mothers navigate the emotional, psychological, and identity shifts of motherhood.
Before becoming a mother, I worked as a therapist in psychedelic-assisted therapy, helping women heal from sexual trauma. But through my own experience, I had an awakening—birth is the ultimate psychedelic experience, and postpartum is the critical window for integration. This realization shifted the course of my life, leading me to train as a birth and postpartum doula, and ultimately to create The Mothers Hive—a space where mothers receive the deep, holistic care they need to heal, replenish, and thrive.
From my own transformation, The Mothers Hive was born—a collective of mamas dedicated to bridging the gaps in postpartum care and creating the nurturing village every mother deserves.
Thank you for choosing to share your journey in motherhood with us. Together, let’s create a world where mothers are truly honored and cherished! 🌟

Brandilyn Clay is a wife, mother of three, and passionate mamapreneur dedicated to revolutionizing postpartum care and maternal well-being. With a Master’s in Integral Psychology and over a decade of experience in holistic therapy, energy medicine, and birthwork, she bridges the gap between modern neuroscience, ancient wisdom, and spiritual healing to support mothers through the profound transformation of birth, postpartum, and beyond.
Before stepping into birthwork, Brandilyn worked as a holistic therapist specializing in psychedelic-assisted therapy, helping women heal from sexual trauma. Through her own experience of motherhood, she recognized that birth is the ultimate psychedelic experience, with postpartum serving as the critical window for integration. This realization reshaped her life’s purpose, leading her to train as a Sacred Birthkeeper, postpartum doula, and holistic practitioner, ultimately founding The Mothers Hive—a sanctuary where mothers receive the deep nourishment, reverence, and care they deserve.
A pioneer of Sound Meditation, Brandilyn has facilitated healing through crystal bowls, sacred songs, and harp rituals for over a decade. She also extends her passion for conscious living through her other ventures, including Goddess Capes, a clothing line supporting indigenous Peruvian women, and Liquid Gold, a nourishing bone broth elixir brand.
At the heart of her work is a powerful truth: The way we treat mothers is a reflection of how we treat the Earth. When we nurture, support, and uplift mothers, families thrive, communities flourish, and the world heals. Through The Mothers Hive, Brandilyn is reclaiming the ancient wisdom of postpartum care and creating the village of support every mother deserves.
